ingrown hairs can ussually get a hair in it to see, you use a mirror to do this. and can ussually get to draw hair. Have you recently a new razor? If so, it could be that ussually get mens shavers, if it can cause ingrown hairs for girls.
I suggest you go to the doctor and immediately investigated.
Herpes sores are very painful, you would know whether it herpes, but I would recommend a test. Better safe than sorry. I have some links below for you.
